Just 20 days ago it snowed hard right in the middle of a cold snap the likes of which we here on the coast of Delaware hadn’t experienced in many years. Three weeks later much of the ground is still blanketed by that snow. It is finally warming up a bit though and it may get to the mid 50s in two days, Too early to celebrate the end of winter? The geese shown here, weathering the snowstorm hunkered down on Silver Lake in Rehoboth Beach, are happy for the return of bare ground and grass.
