I like photographing wildlife in rainy conditions so todays’ driving drizzle was very motivating for me to go looking for subjects. The flat, shadowless light combined with animals either wet, taking cover from the rain, or not seeming to care a bit about a little water falling from above. I shot a lot today and saw all three behaviors. Here I share a female Common Yellowthroat that was standing up to the drizzle in a now leafless tree that it was sharing with two Goldfinches. The Yellowthroat appeared to be completely dry while the Goldfinches looked like they had just flown through a carwash. I will post pictures of them another day.
