Looking Back and Ahead

Here in Delaware we are supposed to have 2-3 inches of new snow tonight and possibly even more over the weekend. Today is February 2. Last year on April 5, just about two months from now, I took this photograph of maple buds. Should we still count the weeks or can we start counting the days to warmer weather?!
