Fall brings profound changes to weather patterns. Along the Mid-Atlantic region coastal storms brew again and the surf kicks up as wind blows hard across the ocean. I love photographing active surf and the broken sky with leaks of sun on the water is the added element that gives a greater depth of feeling to this image.
