
This photograph was taken a couple of years ago and remains one of my favorites. My FB friend, Bill Fintel, observed in a recent post of mine that birds in flight are what makes them interesting. I agree and strive to get birds, and any wildlife for that matter, in action. This Ruby-crowned Kinglet launched from a branch giving me a nice display wings as it lifted into flight. Backed by pure white snow and framed by delicate branches this photograph reminds of Chinese and Japanese silk paintings.
