With the air temperature of 18, and wind blowing at 20 mph creating a wind chill of 2 degrees, I knew it would be interesting at Indian River Inlet this afternoon. Fierce winds kicked up the sea and the resulting waves exploding on the rocks and instantly freezing turned the jetty into an icy landscape that is seldom seen here.
