Hurricane season has started (didn’t we just have a blizzard a couple of weeks back?). Although the chance of seeing a hurricane near Delmarva this early in the season is pretty low there is still the possibility. Tropical storm Arthur formed in the Gulf of Mexico last week and brought floods to Gulf Coast states before its remnants dissipated in the Atlantic southeast of Hatteras. This photograph was taken last year in August in Ocean City MD, waves the result of Hurricane Erin.
