Wrightsville Beach NC feels tropical in the summer and thunderstorms are a regular weather feature. Going to the beach there on storm threatened days sometimes means hoping for a clear hour between storms, which was the case last Sunday. This a view to the south toward the next round coming shorty after we went onto the beach following a 15 minute downpour.
