We planted a few flowering shrubs on our property in Cashville VA to start what will eventually be a good size pollinator garden. A trip there this past weekend to look at the progress on the foundation for the house also involved enjoying butterflies working on blooms in our rudimentary garden. Here a Black Swallowtail uses its proboscis to sip nectar.
