Yesterday the temperature here in Lewes topped out at 100 degrees. I photographed this doe and her two fawns at midday when the temp was in the low 90s. I was surprised to see them meandering through the woods apparently not bothered by the heat. They were cautiously curious about me and my camera, watched for a couple of minutes and then walked slowly away into deeper shadows. I photographed them from quite a distance to avoid making them exert any extra effort fleeing from me in the heat.
