Beautiful Decomposers

I recall from college that the biological world is generally divided into producers, consumers and decomposers. The decomposer group is the generally overlooked and less attractive (read photogenic) of the three. This clump of decomposing mushrooms shot up this week in woods near my home. I think they are very photogenic as a group in the late day sun.
