A monochromatic sky day begs, I suppose, for monochromatic images, at least to this photographer. I went out this morning purposefully looking for possible black and white subjects to shoot in what I thought would be very foggy conditions. I drove through Delaware Bay shore areas but found little to no fog there and no subjects that grabbed me. That is until I found a large flock of red-winged blackbirds perched on bare branches of deciduous trees. I isolated this one tree from the larger scene and found my black and white image.
