We have quite a healthy population of blue dashers in our wooded yard that is adjacent to a salt marsh. Without these predatory mosquito eaters we would have a very uninviting yard to enjoy. Thanks to the balances in nature that keep the blood suckers in the woods and yard to a minimum.
