An early morning alarm chime got me up and out the door two hours before sunrise with the goal of dark, predawn drone photography at the south end of the Ocean City (MD) boardwalk. Goal accomplished and a bonus subject of a very spectacular sunrise presented itself. Pier, waves, uprush, and dramatic sky came together in a very photo-worthy moment. Drone photo at an altitude of about 3 feet with me about 150 yards away in the inlet parking lot on the other side of the pier.
