I grew up in the suburbs of Boston. Fall was always a magical time with Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas being very distinct and separate holidays. They still are but I see Thanksgiving becoming a brief rest stop between Halloween and Christmas. There is a moment of feast sandwiched in between pumpkin spice everything in October and full on Christmas blitz starting the day after Thanksgiving….BLACK FRIDAY!!! In elementary school in Lexington MA ghosts and witches were drawn for Halloween art and fall foliage, fallen leaves, pumpkins, turkeys, and pilgrims were the iconic images of Thanksgiving. So toady in celebration of Thanksgiving, and in the spirit of my youth in Massachusetts I channel back to those early days in my life with fall foliage in Vermont. Very Fall to me. Have a great day and gives thanks for all you and we have.
