Pam and I spent last week in Avon, NC, on the Outer Banks. We needed a little R&R time and we always incorporate photography opportunities into our R&R time. Once on the OBX we found out there was an offshore fishing contest about to start. Hatteras Village is the host port town and we saw some very cool photos of previous tournament’s starts (this being an annual event) with boats in single file coming out of the harbor. We shot the first day start and there was a terrific sunrise that morning which made for, what I consider to be, one of the most memorable moment photographs of the week.
