Wading birds have returned to the marshes here, so I thought I would work in one of my favorite, and usually rewarding, locations. I found a nice variety of birds working some open water and this Great Egret came in to see what it was missing.

There is a patch of green on its bill.
This is a spectacular shot, but then again all your photos are spectacular!!!!!!!!! I dabble in photography also. Your work is magnificent!
