Looking back through my photo files I found this portrait of three willets with their collective attention focused to their right. When I post photographs I usually do a small bit of research on the subject out of my curiosity about the nature. In the case of willets, according to Wikipedia, they are a large sandpiper and most closely related to lesses yellowlegs. Both of these reported facts are a surprise to me.
