Tomorrow is the first day of meteorological spring, 20 days before astronomical spring begins on March 20. It would have been today but lucky February gets an extra day this year. Spring thoughts have me thinking about the return of summer wildlife residents to our coastal area. These egrets pretty-up the marsh quite a bit don’t you think? I’m particularly looking forward to the return of osprey and egrets.
