I recently caught up with an old friend from my teenage years in Ocean City. He now does a little commercial fishing in addition to his day job, mostly, I think, because he loves being on the water. He invited me to join him as he tended his crab trot lines. I had a great time and enjoyed a couple of hours on the water with a friend who clearly loves life on the water. I even went home with a few soft shell crabs to cook for lunch.
