Delaware Tundra

February 12, 2026

Our arctic-like conditions have relaxed a bit here on the Delaware coast and the vast areas of ice on the coastal waters have, or will soon be, broken up or gone.  I was able to shoot many photographs of the unusual freeze up so I have more to share in the coming days and maybe beyond.  I think this scene of long shadows on ice cast by the low angle sun shortly after it rose is a nice light and shadow moment.
