I have recently shared images I shot last year in Vermont at close to peak fall foliage, photographs of the countryside and hills filled with colors. While Delaware doesn’t have that same vivid palette of colorful hills there are colors of fall if you look around a bit. I went for a short walk in the woods behind my house a few mornings ago with camera in hand just to see what fall-feeling subjects nature had dished up. It had rained before dawn that morning which added an interesting touch to pine needles. The mushrooms had been enjoyed by an unknown critter in the woods, perhaps a turtle as I have seen turtles taking bites out of mushrooms in the woods before. Anyway, here are a few fall colors in Delaware this year.
