I left the house well before sunrise this morning hoping to catch a nice sunrise. As I drove south on coastal highway the dawn glow revealed a completely clear sky which is pretty but not what I was hoping for. The constant stream of traffic heading into Rehoboth before 6:00 a.m. reminded me that the marathon was this morning and starting on the boardwalk in Rehoboth. Quick U turn and I’m headed there to take a drone photo of the starting area just as the sun broke the horizon. Not many runners in the starting area at that time but as I drove put of town lots of runners were parking, stretching and walking toward the boardwalk. A great morning for the run.
