True to form, lion-like early March weather greeted me this morning. It will turn over in the coming weeks to milder, lamb-like temperatures but as I set out to shoot sunrise this morning and it was a WAKE UP AND TAKE NOTICE 31 degrees. Windless low tide on the Cape Henlopen sand flats was a condition I pre-envisioned and so I headed right there for the sunrise shoot. The water surface was like a mirror until wake from a distant ship washed across the shallows. I found the pattern of the wake waves moving through the sand flats to be an interesting addition to the scene.
