Storm Arrival

January 9, 2024

A strong storm is moving into the coast today.  If the timing is right, storm clouds arriving from the west or southwest might leave enough open sky to the east over the ocean that creates an interesting pre-storm sunrise.  Such was the case early this morning at Indiana River Inlet. I gambled on conditions being right and was on the beach about 40 minutes before sunrise in time to watch sunrise glow peak and fade right at official sunrise time.  Everything good I shot was well before actual sunrise time.  East winds were already energizing the sea which added to this composition.
